Registered Training Organizations (RTOs)
Registered Training Organizations (RTOs) are institutions or organizations in Australia that are registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver vocational education and training (VET) courses and qualifications. Within Queensland, the RTOs of note are:
TAFE Queensland: TAFE Queensland is a government-funded training provider that offers a wide range of VET courses, including those related to aged care. They have multiple campuses across Queensland.
Challenger Institute of Technology: Provides courses in aged care and individual support, including Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community).
Australian Healthcare Academy: Offers a range of healthcare and aged care courses, including Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
Selmar Institute of Education - Queensland: Selmar operates in multiple states, including Queensland. They offer courses in aged care, including Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
